Hi!
I'm Sabre, and I'm a Swedish wolf who draws furries!
Please check out my gallery! If you're interested in commissioning me for art, have a look at the info page.

I'm self taught and have been drawing my whole life. I do feel that my lack of formal training sometimes puts me at a disadvantage, but I counter that by seeing every new drawing as an opportunity to learn from the artists I look up to and improve myself so I can some day reach them.

Over the past decade or so, I've mostly done individual commissions and personal drawings, but I also have an eternally-unfinished comic called ATR. I'll get around to finishing it one of these days.

If you like my art, consider supporting me on Patreon! <3

A History of Sabres

With only a few short-lived deviations, Sabre has been my fursona since the beginning. He's changed a lot since then, and continues to evolve bit by bit as my ideas for him, and skill level changes.

As such, and since i draw him pretty regularly, he's an excellent marker for how my art style has changed through the years. Check out the timeline below, starting in 2013 and ending with my most recent version!

Sabre History

ATR is a comic about Chester and Jackson, two wolves living as outlaws, and protecting the citizens of Carver City. When Chester decides to look for clues to their mysterious past, he sets in motion a chain of events that will put everything on the line for the answers he seeks...

This comic was started during a summer holiday in 2013, and was my first big furry project. I had just finished reading Sneefee's Ninja Turtles comic Black & Blue, and was struck by how engaging the comic was despite relatively simple art. It served as inspiration and before I knew it, I was making my own comic. For almost its entire run, it was sketched and inked on paper, before being scanned, and cleaned in Photoshop. Eventually my ambitions grew and I began shading it, then coloring it. This was probably a mistake, as after fifty pages, and churning out a page a week, I was utterly exhausted and shelved the project.

Recently, I've been considering a reboot with a refined plot and a return to simpler art that'll be easier to produce in a timely manner... until then, read the current (uncompleted) comic in the gallery!

3D Modelling

Drawing may be my bread and butter, but as a kid, I did a lot of 3D modelling in Hash's Animation Master. As a 12 year old, I spent months upon months designing a Halo-like suit of armor for an animated movie I wanted to make. The movie never ended up getting made, and I eventually left modelling behind... but I've recently come back to it. In the past several months, I've been learning Blender, and I have a fairly complete, yet unpolished version of Sabre ready. Eventually, I hope it'll be good enough to show off properly, but so far, it's serving as an excellent reference tool for poses and camera angles for my art. Stay tuned!
